2020 Olivet Ranch Pinot Noir, Failla Wines

In 2011, Ehren purchased an established vineyard on Olivet Road in Santa Rosa, next to the revered Olivet Lane Vineyard, in the heart of the Russian River AVA. It was immediately converted to organic farming and the vineyard so exceeded everyone’s high expectations that it has become a nursery for future plantings. The 2020 sees 25% whole bunch that elevates the freshness of the wine and 20% new French oak. In 2020 this is a tiny production of 250 cases and Ehren and the team write: ‘We couldn’t be more grateful to have picked this before the fires. It’s bright, brambly and suffused with joy and relief ’.
