2017 Echezeaux Grand Cru, Domaine du Clos Frantin

Frantin’s Echezeaux defines the vintage perfectly. It is surprisingly accessible, floral and pure and with very fine tannins. I suspect this will not close down and can be enjoyed, at any moment, for the next twelve years. It will be hard to resist drinking over the next five though!
