2022 Corton Grand Cru Clos du Roi, Domaine de Montille

90% whole-bunch here. The parcel is towards the upper part of the slope and faces south east. The soil is quite light and that coupled with the terroir of the plot means this Clos du Roi is the most delicate of all the Cortons. There is still plenty of fruit intensity but it’s very fine-featured and very stylish. Drink from 2028
