2021 Meursault 1er Cru Genevrières, Domaine Darviot-Perrin

Super wine, oozing class and pedigree from the first sniff to the final sip. Like an onion, the layers peel back almost indefinitely, such is its complexity and interest. A touch of reduction just adds more nuance and there is a strong sense of dry extract even though the wine is reserved and unforgiving at this stage. So much to come and just a delight on every level.
