Based in the heart of Meursault, Domaine Buisson-Battault is a relatively new domaine having only been formed at the end of the Second World War. François joined his father Andre in 1985; his youthful energy and vigour are both still very much in evidence today, as he crafts lovely wines with an enviably relaxed and phlegmatic demeanour. This wine is from Pinot Noir grown in three Meursault lieu-dits: Les Vaux, Sous la Velle, and Montaine. Vibrant and clean red fruit with smooth tannins, really delicious!
