2023 Gevrey-Chambertin Mes Cinq Terroirs, Domaine Denis Mortet

This is Arnaud’s biggest cuvée but it’s no generic wine, despite coming from a number of parcels around the appellation, as the name suggests. The nose is a delight, showing lovely aromatic intensity and little more structure than the wine above. Terrific concentration throughout and a lovely mix of fruit intensity and linear definition from start to finish. The fingers lingers and seduces, even within such a classical framework.   En primeur
