2023 Touraine Sauvignon, Domaine du Haut Perron

Pale yellow in colour with excellent clarity, this classic Loire Sauvignon Blanc opens with aromas of green apple, white flowers and subtle vegetal notes. The palate is dry and smooth, combining lemon rind, grapefruit and delicate tropical fruit flavours with a crisp mineral backbone. A saline, chalky finish adds freshness and definition, making it an ideal match for prawns and lean fish, alongside pumpkin risotto and other light vegetarian dishes.
