2022 Morey-Saint-Denis 1er Cru Clos Baulet, Domaine des Lambrays

It’s a very small vineyard and even smaller plot, but it has produced a seriously delicious wine of great sophistication and dynamism. It is svelte and stylish, yet precise and pure at the same time, with a vibrancy and brightness running through its core. It has a hint of Chambolle about it, thanks to its delicate florality, although the vineyard is further from Chambolle than the Clos Sorbè. A beautiful, seamless Pinot.
