2023 Chianti Colli Aretini, Mannucci Droandi

The Droandi family’s wines are as charming and as characterful as they are. The ’23 Colli Aretini is a blend of 90% Sangiovese, 5% Colorino and other local grapes grown in Campolucci, on the eastern slopes of the Chianti mountains (in the subzone of Colli Aretini). The well-exposed slopes and sandy, alluvial soil here result in a wine with bags of juicy fruit, freshness and a sapid, moreish finish. Better still, it’s organic certified.
