Aux Réas is a village-level extension of the
small 1er Cru Clos des Réas, just to its north,
although as Cyprien points out, the distinction
between the two plots is an accurate one as
the soils are very different. This is altogether
more backward and structured than the
straight Vosne, and it will need more time to
knit and marry together. But the extra weight
of fruit is very evident, albeit currently lurking
