Few young winemakers have generated as much excitement in the Cape as Sam Lambson. Through Minimalist Wines, Sam has quickly developed a reputation for thoughtful, site-driven wines with a particular affinity for Syrah. Drawing on experience gained alongside some of South Africa’s leading producers, he works with carefully selected cool-climate vineyard sites across regions including Elgin, Polkadraai and Cape Agulhas. Produced in small quantities at his urban winery in Cape Town, the wines combine purity, saline freshness and precision, reflecting both Sam’s meticulous approach and his distinctive creative energy.
