Jeunes Vignes: Fine Wine Internship with Flint Wines

Overview

Now in its third year running, the fine wine internship with Flint Wines is an opportunity for someone representing the new generation of wine producers from one of our agencies to spend up to six months working for us in the UK market. We believe strongly in the importance of including all generations in our business, which starts with the youngest generation to enter the wine trade. We have seen firsthand the benefits of welcoming young people from their family domaines abroad to work with us at Flint, and wish to continue this burgeoning tradition by formally with this internship.

Description

We will tailor the internship to the successful applicant’s objectives for when he or she returns to work at the family domaine. We will build the job description and responsibilities based early conversations in the interview process, so that at the point of job offer, it is clear what he or she would stand to gain from the experience, and how we would ensure it is a useful period of time for both parties. We would expect the intern to spend a minimum of six weeks with us, however are open to arrangements lasting up to six months.

Requirements

  • Applicants must be 18 years or older by their first day of employment
  • Applicants must be able to support Flint in ensuring they can legally work in the UK
  • Applicants must be able to speak and write English to a satisfactory level
