Col Grandfield
Col was born in southeast London and raised in Bournemouth, 100 metres from the sea. Col started at the University of Manchester to study English Literature, though after the first year, he left to pursue a full time career in the trade. He started out in bartending before transitioning work at The Winemakers Club in 2014 where he was the manager of the shop & bar, and also did trade sales. He then held management roles at Levan, The Good Wine Shop, and, most recently, The Sourcing Table. Col has taken part in many long distance cycles for various charities, including London2Paris24, RideLondon, London Revolution, and the 2024 edition of The Harvest Tour for The Drinks Trust. He lives in Sydenham with his partner, wine journalist Natalie Earl, and their cat Walnut.
