With Olivier’s elder brother next in line to take over from their father at the family domaine in Fuissé, Olivier was anxious to find something suitable for himself to run and boy did he get lucky.
He found a terrific domaine in nearby Loché whose ageing owner had no son to take it over. The domaine had some great plots of old vines and Olivier jumped at the chance to buy it. In a short space of time he has established himself as one of the most exciting growers in the area. The wines are intense and pure with oak very judiciously used. This is a domaine to follow very closely in the coming years.
