Domaine Buisson-Charles

Allen Meadows (aka Burghound) recently wrote in his publication that “2008 saw them fashion some excellent wines but they have outdone themselves in 2009 as everything is outstanding and they have made some of the top wines of the vintage.” High praise indeed. The wines are fairly old school and nicely Meursault in terms of the amount of matter they have. New oak is used well and the wines need time to develop and open up, although they are not whippet like in youth.
