As the name suggests this imposing winery is an ambitious amalgamation between two respected families (Arzuaga and Navarro) in the heart of the fashionable region of Ribera del Duero. Using predominantly Tempranillo the cuverie produces various cuvées of differing design and longevity. The La Planta was introduced about four years ago as a wine that could be drunk that bit earlier whilst the Crianza and Reserva spend the traditional 12 months and 36 months respectively in oak and in the cellar before release and are capable of ageing for a decade or more.
