What Vincent Paris may lack in quantity of vineyards he makes up for in quality of wine. Cornas has soemthing of a reputation for verging on the foursquare, lacking finesse and complexity. However, Vincent's wines are quite different, demonstrating real control and a lovely sense of refinement and precision and plenty of character, too. The two Cornas show excellent minerality and length and should age very gracefully. Unable to charge the sort of prices that Hermitage fetches, these wines look good value and there are few better Cornas' out there.
