| From the Marche area of Italy, the Sarterelli estate consists of 40 hectares of Verdicchio. The vineyards are at altitude on often steep slopes which means the grapes ripen later allowing them more hang-time to develop complexity and concentration whilst retaining a mouthwatering minerality and zip. This wine is aged in stainless steel rather than oak which helps the wines to express these qualities. This would be delightful with oysters, seafood, and various fish or even on its own.
