Based in Piedmont, in north-west Italy, the home of Barolo, Agostino Pavia and his two sons craft some lovely examples of Barbera. We have chosen the cuvée below for its mouth-watering mix of fruit and freshness. It is aged in stainless steel rather than oak which helps to maintain its fresh bite, and the fruit has that food friendly tannin that so typifies fine Italian wine. It offers excellent value and should be enjoyed over the next eighteen months.
