Based in the heart of Montalcino country this impressive but small (10 hectares) family estate produces delightfully refined and well-poised reds. The vineyards are at altitude whcih helps to give them bite and vibrancy.

Lisini produce both Brunello and its younger brother Rossi di Montalcino, which is for earlier drinking. The 2004 Rosso featured in our first Thursday Offer back in January and promptly sold out. We have subsequently stocked up on the fabulous 2006 which promises to be every bit as good.
