For us the idea of Verdicchio was a lively wine for relatively early drinking, plenty of personality but ready to go pretty much straight away. The Sarterelli version we have is lovely and does just that. This however, changed our perception of this varietal and is different kettle of fish entirely.

Strong aromatics give way to a controlled and focussed wine that really opens out in the glass. There is real complexity and great length and an overall harmony that is delightful.
