Having purchased this wonderful estate 20 years ago in 1988, Stefano Campedelli and his brother have crafted it in to one of the very finest in the region. They produce some of the best Valpolicella we have ever tasted and some astonishing Amarone. The wines display terrific complexity, definition and purity.

The Valpolicella Superiore is a blend of 70% Corvina Grosso, 20% Rondinella, and 10% Teroldigo and Croatina. It has incredible understated power and great harmony and should last another ten years with little difficulty. The Amarone is a blend of 45% Corvinone, 25% Corvina Gentile, 20% Condinella and 10% Croatina. It would be fantastic with so many things. A rich vension casrole, for example, chocolate cake and various cheeses to name just a few options.
