Based in the heart of the Mosel, in the village of Brauneberg, opposite some of the valley’s finest vineyards, Wilhelm Haag and his son, Oliver, produce some of the most sublime Rieslings in the world. The Haag family owns 7.5 hectares of vines on the slopes of the Sonnenuhr vineyard, including a decent proportion of the prized Juffer parcel which sits in the heart of the slope with a much more slate dominated soil.
In style their wines have a wonderful purity and refinement which allows them to be drunk with great pleasure in their youth yet have the potential to age for decades if so desired. Highly sought after quantities are always very limited so we are delighted to be able to offer the stunning wine below.
