Aurélien’s father, Alain, was amongst the first domaines in Burgundy to go biodynamic and Aurélien is keen to carry on the philosophy. However, he is also anxious to raise the profile of the domaine and the best way to do this is to increase the quality. Young and ambitious he has already been picked out as a name to watch out for and he seems certain to achieve his aim.

Last year he completed the constrcution of a vast new cuverie which has given him both the space to expand his range and flexibility to adapt the elevage of the wines to the character of the vintages. In style the wines tend towards the fruit-driven but not in an over-extracted way, more a pleasurable pure, Pinot kind of way!
