He has also built himself a new cellar on the outskirts of the village which allows his to get the very best from this 10 hectare property. His portfolio includes 6 1ers Crus Chassagnes, of which we buy the two most mineral and, in our humble opinion, the two best, the rarely seen Baudines and the revered Caillerets. We also got seduced by his astonishing Montagny 1er Cru which comes from a superb plot of 100 year old vines and shows a level of minerality and intensity rarely seen in the appellation.
