Jean-Baptiste Lebreuil is a quietly determined winemaker who makes lovely Savigny in a beautifully understated way. Not for him lots of extraction and new oak; he prefers depth, pure, natural fruit and length of flavour, as do we! His wines are not showy but they are very good. In fact he is fast becoming one of the real stars of Savigny. All 4 vintages we have available are hugely successful for him; the wines combining terrific finesse with ample concentration. They come highly recommended.
